Maison 0.82, France

‘Maison 0.82’ draws cues from modernist architecture reminiscent of Mies van der Rohe. In this case, it is demonstrated by the sharp geometric lines, horizontal planes, flat roof and material expression, all of which aiming to connect the building with the surrounding garden landscape. The design uses a traditional rectangular structure, and strategically placed windows that provides a naturally-lit environment inside.  (Photos © Maria-Caroline Ducat)
