360 Villa, The Netherlands

Located in a quiet and picturesque setting in the Netherlands, local studio 123DV has designed the 360 villa for a couple and their two beloved dogs. The home is of a modest footprint, occupying only 85 m2 on a single floor of a vast and lush site, almost disappearing into tall grass that engulfs the entry walkway. As the name implies, the circular floor plan is surrounded by a glass partition that wraps the entire envelope of the home providing the 360-degree views to the exterior. This concept serves not only to embed the home into the landscape, it also gives their two Alaskan Malamutes the ability to see their owners in the home at all times and from anywhere on the property.  (Photos ©  Hannah Anthonysz)
