A unique LaFerrari has raced into the record books, selling for $7 million at RM Sotheby’s in Florida.

The car, offered from Ferrari’s own collection, sold for the most for any 21st-century automobile sold in a public auction.

The Coupé was made as a gift from Ferrari to its home country, with proceeds helping the reconstruction of Central Italy after the earthquakes of 2016.
